Dark Vengeance is a 3D jet combat game for iPhone, iPad and Android, played in landscape. You fly the XF-77 Dark Vengeance, Aegis Command’s experimental stealth fighter-bomber, through 18 missions in three operations, each over its own land: drop bridges and stop trains, crack buried vaults, cover rescues, shoot down cruise missiles over a city and fight carrier group against carrier group.

Every mission is flown in third-person 3D over its own procedural land, 13 kinds in all, from canyons and dunes to fjords, jungle, glaciers and open ocean. The XF-77 Dark Vengeance carries a gun, missiles, bombs and flares, and stays invisible to radar until it opens its weapons bay.
Fleet Clash. Mission 17: Razor 2 launches first, then the XF-77 comes off the catapult at dusk and turns straight into Orlov’s strike on the fleet.Sky Shield. Mission 9: off the runway at night and onto the afterburner after the cruise missiles heading for Port Meridian.Wolfpack. Low-level strike
The jet flies forward on its own. Drag on the left half of the screen to steer and keep low under the radar. Hold the gun, keep a target in the circle to lock and fire a missile, or drop bombs on the orange ring.
Stealth
Radar SAMs can’t see the XF-77 until it fires a missile and its weapons bay opens. Then every site in range knows where you are. Knock out a site’s radar and its launchers go blind.
Bridges and trains
Drop a river bridge before the tank column crosses in Broken Span, then stop trains before they reach their tunnels in Iron Express and Thunder Run.
Deep vaults
Clear the fighters first, then put three bombs on each buried vault in Deep Vault and Ice Vault while the base scrambles everything it has.
Rescue
Keep the armour off a downed pilot in the jungle in Beacon, then hold a ridge with Stalker Team until Pedro’s helicopters land, load up and get out.
City defence
In Sky Shield, light the afterburner and run down two salvos of cruise missiles at night before they reach Port Meridian.
Wingmen and drones
F/A-18s and F-35Cs of Razor Flight launch with you and take the fighters you don’t. In Valkyrie Dawn, tap any target and the Ghost drones go after it.
Carrier launch and landing
Most missions start on the catapult, with your wingmen launching ahead of you, or plugged into the tanker. Carrier missions end with a landing: fly the approach yourself or press AUTO LAND.
Fleet battles and bosses
Fleet Clash is carrier group against carrier group: defend your ships from anti-ship missiles, then sink theirs. Each operation ends against something huge: the Bastion, Skarn’s flagship and the battlecruiser Kormoran.

Warlord Kael has buried his air defenses in the canyons of the Redrock Range and is pushing armour, warheads and trains out across the river country and the dunes. No ordinary jet can reach him. Aegis is sending the Dark Vengeance.

Operation Northern FuryMissions 7–12
The Hvit Fjords, against the Glacier Directorate. Boss: Skarn’s Flagship.
Admiral Skarn’s fleet hides deep in the northern fjords under a wall of guns and missiles, raiding the free coast at will: the jungle shore, Port Meridian, the glacier foundries. Fly in low, bring our people home and break his fleet.

Operation Valkyrie DawnMissions 13–18
The Volkov Crown, against the Valkyrie Directorate. Boss: The Kormoran.
High Marshal Orlov holds the volcanic isles, highlands and steppe of the Volkov Crown, with stealth fighters, a carrier group and the battlecruiser Kormoran. Fly with Razor Flight and the Ghost drones, get our teams off the mountain, stop his trains and sink his fleet.

Missions start on the carrier’s catapult, off an airstrip or plugged into the tanker, by day, at dusk or at night.

How much does it cost?+
The download is free and so is Operation Black Canyon, the first 6 missions. One in-app purchase, the Full Campaign ($3.99), unlocks Northern Fury and Valkyrie Dawn, missions 7–18. There are no ads.
How do the controls work?+
The jet flies forward on its own. Drag on the left half of the screen to steer, flick sideways to barrel-roll and flick up for a cobra. The right side has buttons for the gun, missiles, bombs, flares and boost. When you fly with drones, tap a target to send them after it, and AUTO LAND brings the jet back aboard the carrier.
Which devices does it run on?+
iPhone and iPad on iOS 17 or later, and Android phones and tablets, played in landscape. It uses a lightweight renderer with low-poly terrain and models, so it runs on older phones too.
Wasn’t Dark Vengeance part of Final Siege?+
It started as Final Siege’s 3D flight expansion. It’s now a game of its own, in landscape, with the same 18 missions in three operations. Final Siege keeps its 30 missions and the Operation Trident expansion.
Is it online?+
Every mission has a leaderboard, and your progress saves to the cloud. You can link Game Center, Google Play Games or an Octane7 account, or just play offline.
